Harlan J. Wuthrich

Harlan J. Wuthrich, 84, of Milford passed away on May 26, 2013 at Lakeland Healthcare and Rehabilitation. He was born August 22, 1928 in Milford to Peter and Laura (Graff) Wuthrich. On October 20, 1950, he married Nancy Knee who survives.

Harlan was a lifelong area resident and was an area farmer until his retirement in 1988. He was a member of the Milford United Methodist Church, the Warsaw Square dancers club and the Syracuse Eagles. He enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending the winters in Ft Myers Beach, Florida. He really enjoyed being around and fellowshipping with people.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Nancy of Milford, one son, Andrew Wuthrich of Silver Lake, one daughter Rebecca Moorefield of Milford, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving is a brother, Glenn "Pete" Wuthrich of Nappanee, a sister, Irene (Jim) Sumpter of Milford and a sister in law, Dee Wuthrich of Milford.

Harlan was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Wayne and Donald Wuthrich.

A celebration of Harlan's life will be at 11:00 am on June 8, 2013 at the Milford United Methodist Church; Reverend Rob Nelson will officiate. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Hospice, Milford United Methodist Church or the Salvation Army.
