Joshua David Whitaker

Joshua David Whitaker, 30, of South Bend passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Josh was born on April 21, 1983 to Kenneth and Terry (Sizemore) Whitaker.

Josh attended Granger Community Church and was very talented musically; he enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. Josh loved to spend time with his daughter and had a great love for his family.

Josh is survived by his daughter Peyton Whitaker of Fort Wayne; his father, Kenneth Whitaker of Bremen; six siblings, Stephanie Whitaker Hale, Dustin Whitaker, Bryan Whitaker, Aaron Whitaker all of South Bend, Ashley Whitaker of Winimac, Riley Whitaker of Argos; and a maternal grandfather, Austin Sizemore.

He was preceded in death by his mother; his paternal grandparents, David and Georgia Whitaker; and his maternal grandmother, Charlotte Sizemore.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 7 PM at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen with Pastor Jeff Little officiating. Burial will take place at the Bremen Cemetery on Thursday, May 30th at 10 AM.

Friends may call from 5-7 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
