Louise Frances Kline, 94, of Bremen passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at home. She was born on June 30, 1918 to Daniel Arlie and Mary Elizabeth (Borden) Cline in New Hope, Virginia. On July 6, 1946 Louise married Jack Kline.
Louise worked on the family farm as a young girl, and went on to attend Dunsmore Business College. From a very young age, she was fascinated by the piano. She began lessons at age eleven and taught her younger sisters to play. Louise later graduated from Sherwood Music School of Chicago in 1968. Her passion for the piano became a career; she taught lessons to all ages for over 50 years. Louise was a member of the Church of the Brethren for over 80 years.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Pastor Jack Kline of Bremen; two sons, Dr. Philip Jackson (Catherine) Kline of Evansville and Keith (Joan) Kline of Bremen; a daughter, Wanda Louise (Dr. Robert) Floros of St. David's, PA; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother; and four sisters.
Louise was preceded in death by four brothers.
A funeral service will be held at 11 Am on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Bremen Church of the Brethren. Pastor Mike Overpeck will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in Virginia.
Friends may call on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 5-8 PM at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Hospice or the Bremen Church of the Brethren.
