Ruth Campbell

Ruth E. Campbell, 92, of Bremen, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Bremen Healthcare Center. Ruth was born on February 17, 1921 to Howard D. and Margaret (Price) Evans in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. On June 1, 1946 she married John F. Campbell; he passed away in May of 1995.

Ruth was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bremen, the Red Hat Society, and the Homemakers Club. She enjoyed playing bridge and golf.

Ruth is survived by two sons, John (Alice) Campbell of Goshen and Jeff (Jan) Campbell of Bremen; a daughter, Laura (Daniel) Hammons of Bremen; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a brother, William H. Evans of Long Island, NY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; a brother, Richard Evans; a sister, Audry Reider; and a grandson, Jason Campbell.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Burial will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at a later time.

Friends may call an hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the First Baptist Church of Bremen or the First Baptist Church of Elkhart.
