Mildred I. Charlton

Mildred I. Charlton, 85, of Milford passed away on Wednesday, January 09, 2013. She was born on January 6, 1928 in Nappanee to Charles and Louise (Stump) Losee.

Mildred graduated from New Paris High School and worked for Homecrest in Goshen. She was a member of the First Brethren Church of Nappanee and the American Legion Ladies' Auxiliary.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Lisa (Rob) Smith of Milford; a step-grandson, Danny Venstra of Chicago; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Smith and McKenzie Smith; two brothers, Larry Losee of Edwardsburg, MI and Donald Losee of Milford; and a sister, Janice Elliott of Milford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael E. Charlton; and a brother, George Losee.

A memorial service will be held later this spring in Milford for the family.
