Lula Blanche Odiorne

Lula Blanche Odiorne, 89, of Bremen passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Bremen Health Care Center with all of her family by her side. She was born on August 19, 1923 in Bremen to Arthur and Isabelle (Nusbaum) Forsythe. She married Albert L. Odiorne on May 4, 1945; he passed in July of 2011.

Blanche graduated from Bremen High School with the class of 1942. She worked as a beautician for many years and was a member of the Church of Christ in Plymouth. She enjoyed reading her Bible, going for walks and gardening.

She is survived by two sons, Tom (Alom) Odiorne of Atlanta and Steve (Cindy) Odiorne of Plymouth; a daughter, Marcia (Tim) Barts of Bremen; five grandchildren, Pat Voelkel Sisaveth, David Odiorne, Irene Frazier, Jason Spaid and Jaley Spaid; several great-grandchildren; two sisters Margaret Troyer of Monon and Lucille Schmeltz of Walkerton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; a grandson, Jake Spaid; three brothers; and three sisters.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Jake Spaid Memorial Scholarship Fund.
