Jerry L Templin

Jerry Lee Templin, 69, of Leesburg passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at home surrounded by family. He was born December 6, 1943 in Warsaw to Harold and Dorothy (Boone) Templin. He married M. Jane Beer on March 1, 1964 who survives.

Jerry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with all his children and grandchildren. He was a local farmer and was a member of the Nappanee Missionary Church.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jane, a daughter Kristi (Mark) Strakowski of Cincinnati; two sons, Scott (Amy) Templin and Terry (Karen) Templin both of Leesburg. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Trent, Kayla, Sadie, Sam, Sophie, Jake, Jared and Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his step father, Don Hoffman.

Services will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, December 12 at Mishler Funeral Home; Pastor Norm Reimer will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to the time of the service Wednesday at the Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Goshen Homecare and Hospice.
