Evelyn Hardy

Evelyn Hardy, 93, of Bremen died on Thursday, November 08, 2012 at the Bremen Heath Care Center. Evelyn was born on August 12, 1919 in Milford to Eli and Elva (Gooch) Warren. She married Richard S. Hardy who preceded her in death on April 2, 1991.

Evelyn was employed at Woodies grocery store for 18 years. She formerly attended the First Church of God in Nappanee and most recently attended the First Baptist Church of Bremen. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Bremen Senior Pines on Tuesday mornings. Evelyn enjoyed coordinating the Pastors for Bible study at the senior center and playing cards. Evelyn was a loving mother and grandmother and loved to spend time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Gordon (Carol) Hardy of Bremen, Richard (Sharon) Hardy of Kodak, TN, four grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren nine great-great grandchildren.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, five brothers, an infant son and a grandson.



Visitation will be held on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 4 to 8:00 pm in the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen, IN.

A funeral service for Evelyn will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in the funeral home. Pastor Ben Hammond will be officiating and burial will follow the service at Bremen Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bremen in care of Mishler Funeral Home.
