Timothy K Meck

Timothy K. "Tim" Meck, 62, of Leesburg passed away on October 27, 2012. Tim was born on August 20, 1950 in Warsaw to Earl S. and Dorothy E. (Bogart) Meck.

Born and raised in Kosciusko County, Tim graduated from Warsaw High School in 1968. He was a truck driver for Polk and Sons for many years before becoming a self employed mechanic. Tim enjoyed studying the history of Kosciusko County, mathematics and studying Hydrogen. He was a self taught mechanic and enjoyed tinkering on things, eventually achieving the goal of having an engine run on Hydrogen. Tim loved Mack trucks, the outdoors, gardening and mushroom hunting.

Tim is survived by his mother, Dorothy of Warsaw, four siblings, Pat (Peggy) Meck of Pierceton, Allen (Chris) Meck of Pierceton, Cheryl (Jim) Moneyheffer of Leesburg, Darrell (companion Lu Ann) Meck of Leesburg and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Earl Meck.

Services will be 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford with Pastor Josh Weiland officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at Mishler Funeral Home.
