Starlene Jeffrey

Starlene Jeffrey, 62, of Bremen, Indiana died at 3:20 pm on Friday, October 26, 2012 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Indiana.

Star was born on February, 1950 in Bremen, Indiana to Leo and Phyllis Snyder Lolmaugh. She was a 1968 graduate of LaSalle High School, South Bend.

On August 23, 1969 in South Bend, she married her soul mate and best friend of 43 years, Vince Jeffrey.

She was a former teacher and the Director of Religious Education for St. Dominic Catholic Church, Bremen and had previously worked for the Boys and Girls Club of St. Joe County.

Star enjoyed traveling and was extremely fond of the Rocky Mountains. She was very artistically talented; she enjoyed crocheting, painting and was very competitive with her husband, trying to catch the biggest fish.

Starlene is survived, by her loving husband, Vince Jeffrey and her two sons, Vincent (Misty) Jeffrey, Jr., Akron, IN. and Robert Jeffrey, Bremen, Indiana.

Star is survived by her father, Leo Lolmaugh.

She is also survived by her 4 wonderful grandchildren, Randall, Destiny, Jade and Sage.

Also surviving Star are her two sisters, Patty (Sam) Stapleton, Melody (Chuck) Golubski and brother, Chris (Theresa) Lolmaugh.



Starlene was preceded in death by her mother.



Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 5 to 7:00 pm in the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen, IN.

A Memorial service for Starlene will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in the funeral home.
