Phyllis Yoder, 86, of Bremen, a born again Christian, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 1:20 pm on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Bremen Health Care. She was born on December 13, 1925 to Carl Gunterman and Edna Pomeroy. On April 15, 1944 she married Joseph H. Yoder. He preceded her in death September of 2003.
Mrs. Yoder graduated from Bremen High School in 1943. She was part owner of Wa-Chester Equipment Company in Wabash from 1962-1995. Mrs. Yoder was a member of the Lake Tippy Association and the Red Hat Society.
Phyllis is survived by a son Joseph H. (Brenda) Yoder, Wabash and daughters Kay (Leonald) Rouch, Bremen, Ann ( Roger) Story, Wabash, Mary Yoder, Ridgeville, Christine Smith, Warsaw, and a special daughter, Carol Funk, Ridgeville. A sister Carol (Don) Soales, of Elkhart also survives. She is also survived by12 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph and a son-in-law, Brian Smith.
Visitation will be Thursday October 25, 2012 from 11 to 2 pm in the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen.
Funeral Services will be held October 25, 2012 at 2 pm in the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen with Pastor Ben Hammond officiating. Burial will be in the Bremen Cemetery, Bremen.
