Joseph W. Urednick, 88, of Bremen, passed away September 2, 2012 at Bremen Health Care Center. Joseph was born March 7, 1924 in Mishawaka to Frank and Francis (Vergil) Urednick. He Married Blanche Weldy on February 27 1942; she survives.
Joseph served his Country Honorably during WWII in the United States Navy serving on the USS Nassau Aircraft Carrier. He was a lifetime member of the Bremen VFW and was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Mishawaka. He enjoyed fishing and watching Notre Dame Football. Most of all, he cherished his family, spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed the many trips to Minnesota with his wife.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Blanche, daughter, Franni (Jay) Bowser of Winona Lake four grandchildren, Greg Urednick, Angel Rummel, Gary Urednick, Phil Bowser, 13 great grandchildren, Joe, Brandon, Blake, Jake, Amber Brandis, Jennifer, Valorie, Haley, Savannah, Morgan, Isaiah, Luke and three great great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Gregory and Joseph and three brothers.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 5 from 9am to 11am at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00am, Wednesday at Mishler Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bremen Cemetery following the service with military honors.
