Helen M Rassi

Helen M. Rassi, 93, of Milford passed away on June 21, 2012 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Helen was born on September 15, 1918 in Warsaw to Walter and Eva (Mortimore) Kehler. She married Robert Rassi in 1941; he preceded her in death on February 27, 2002.

Helen was a graduate of Leesburg High school and was a member of Milford First Brethren Church where she served in many areas and the WMS Society and was a volunteer at Goshen Hospital for several years. Helen liked reading, playing scrabble and working in her flower garden. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Helen is survived by her children Barrie (Judy) Rassi of Peru, Carol (Harout) Kouyoumdjian of Columbia City, Beverly (Jerry) Leiter of Milford, John (Diane) Rassi of Syracuse; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert and an infant brother Richard.

Services will be 3:30 pm, Monday, June 25, 2012 at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford with Pastor Larry Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 3:30pm Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Milford First Brethren Church or Gideon's.
