James Michael Cherrone, Jr.

James Michael Cherrone Jr., 23, of Bremen, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at South Bend Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 5, 1988 in Bremen to James and Melody Cherrone.

James attended Bremen High School and went on to work for Mike's Custom Painting. He enjoyed working on cars, riding four wheelers and dirt bikes, and gardening. James was a wonderful kid and also loved animals. His family remembers him as loving and caring with a heart of gold. He loved to be around his family and friends and didn't know a stranger.

James is survived by his parents, James Michael Cherrone Sr. and Melody Cherrone of Bremen; two brothers, Joshuah James Cherrone and Nicholas (Courtney) Cherrone; a sister, Windie Ellen Cherrone; two nephews Calvin Hickey and Maddix Bogunia; and four nieces, Jennifer Cherrone, Josalin Cherrone, Victoria Cherrone, and Caraline Hickey, all of Bremen.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Horizon Ministries in Bremen. Pastor Jim Morse will officiate.

Friends may call at the church on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 4-8 PM.

Memorials may be given to the Cherrone family, in care of Mishler Funeral Home.
