Marlowe Heckaman

Mr. Marlowe Heckaman was born on November 27, 1915, to Stephen and Della Heckaman in Bremen, Indiana.

After graduation from high school, he attended North Central College in Illinois and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music. After living several years in the Chicago area, he moved to New York City and was employed by Horn and Hardart, and later the New York City Transportation System.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Owen.

He leaves a sister, Monvilo Harrison of Florida and one niece and a nephew, Marilyn Light and Gary Hartmann.

He became a reaident of the Isabella House in Manhattan, NY on November 21, 2000 and departed this life on January 6, 2012.

Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery, Bremen, Indiana with a small graveside ceremony on July 10, 2012 at 3:00 PM.
