Ralph Mcfarland

Ralph McFarland, 72, of Bremen, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at home. Ralph was born on April 4, 1940 in Plymouth to Roma and Arden (Zimmerman) McFarland.

Ralph graduated from Plymouth High School in the class of 1958. He went on to be employed with Universal Bearings, where he worked in various departments for over 28 years. On November 14, 1981, he married Jane Bollenbacher in Bremen. Ralph loved riding motorcycles, and could often be seen driving his trike around. He also enjoyed taking the short trip to New Buffalo to gamble. Ralph's friends and family were of utmost importance to him, and he loved them dearly.

Ralph is survived by his wife Jane McFarland of Bremen, two brothers Monte (Grace) McFarland of TN and Terry McFarland of Plymouth; two brothers-in-law Wayne (Bonnie) Bollenbacher and Ken (Debbie) Bollenbacher both of Bremen; a sister-in-law Janet (Lee) Anglemyer of Bremen; numerous nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Barbara Maze.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen at 11:00 AM. Burial in the Bremen Cemetery will follow the service.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the funeral home.
