Jerry Chrzan

Jerry Chrzan, 59, of Bremen, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Elkhart Hospice House. He was born July 20, 1952 to Casmir and Bessie (Dennison) Chrzan in South Bend.

Jerry attended Jackson High School in South Bend and then joined the United States Army in an effort to honorably serve his country. On May 18, 1985, Jerry married Nancy House in North Liberty. He worked for Mike's Custom Painting for ten years and was a member of the Bremen VFW.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Chrzan of Bremen; two sons Charles (Lisa) Hundt of Fishers and Nicholas (Sarah) Chrzan of Indianapolis; a daughter Danielle (Will) Shawver of Elkhart; three grandchildren Salone Perkins, Quinn Hundt, and Griffin Hundt; a brother Gary Chrzan of Bremen; a sister Cheryl Chrzan of South Bend; his father and stepmother Casmir (JoAnn) Chrzan of Bremen; and a sister-in-law Judy Chrzan of South Bend.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Larry Chrzan.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen at noon accompanied by military honors.

Friends may call an hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
