Caroline M. "Doll" Mikel, 69, of Bremen, Indiana died at 12:44 am on Sunday, March 25, 2012 in her residence.
Caroline was affectionately known as "Doll" for her exquisite beauty.
Caroline was born on January 9, 1943 in Bremen, Indiana to John and Nellie Ruth (Tomlinson) Knoblock. She was a 1961 graduate of Bremen High School.
On November 24, 1961 in the First United Church of Bremen, she married her soul mate and best friend for 50 plus years, Roger Mikel.
Doll was the owner and operator of the former Little John's Pizza, of Bremen.
She was an avid antique collector and an exceptional gardener, her yard was always immaculate a stick or weed could never be found. Doll enjoyed reading and traveling with her husband, they toured numerous Presidential Libraries' and homes. She loved and boasted about her family, and was a great caretaker for her Chihuahua, Chuckie.
Caroline is survived, by her loving husband, Roger and her five children, Blaine (Chana) Mikel, Walkerton, Amy (Paul) Taylor, Nashville, TN, Trevor (Maria) Mikel, Chicago, IL, Kori (Frankie) Merritt, Bremen, and Allison (D.J.) Pomeroy, Akron, IN.
She is also survived by her 17 wonderful grandchildren.
Also surviving Doll is her two sisters, Doris (Earl) Krotik, California and Janet (Mike) Levy, Bremen.
Doll was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marian Farrer and her brother, John Knoblock.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 4 to 7:00 pm in the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen, IN.
A Memorial service for Caroline will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in the funeral home.

The family would like to give special thanks to Nurse, Terri Brandt, and the bath aids.
