Roger A. Elliott, 69, of Milford, formerly of Nappanee passed away February 28, 2012 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare. He was born February 2, 1943 in Elkhart to Arthur and Lois (Hartman) Elliott. Roger married Janice Losee on February 24, 1989; she survives.
Roger served his Country in the United States Army and was a truck driver. He retired from Flexsteel and worked for Chore-Time for several years. He enjoyed the outdoors, mushroom hunting, fishing, racing, woodworking and collecting Coca Cola memorabilia. He loved his family and really enjoyed it when they all got together.
Roger is survived by his wife of 23 years, Janice of Milford, four children, Rusty (wife Rochelle) Elliott of Goshen, Mindy (husband Gary) Hall of South Bend, Misty (husband Matt) McBride of Goshen; Tracy Eppert of Elkhart and nine grandchildren, Sgt. Zechariah Elliott, Stephanie Elliott, Laura Elliott, Travis Elliott, Ethan Hall, Grace Hall, Julianne Hall; Heather McBride and Gwyndolyn McBride and two more on their way. Also surviving are four sisters, Martha (husband Oscar "Pee Wee") Russell of Milford, Sue (husband Mike) Steller of Cromwell, Lea Kennedy of Three Rivers, MI and Tina (husband Westley) Welty of Goshen.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 5:00 PM, Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford. Pastor Mike Kelly will officiate the service.
Visitation will be 2:00 to 5:00 PM, Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the funeral home.
