Michael Dane Miller

Michael "Mike" Dane Miller, 63, of Milford passed away February 23, 2012. He was born March 31, 1948 in Warsaw to Eugene and Partha (Troup) Miller. Mike married Vickie Timmons on August 4, 1972; she survives.

Mike was a lifetime area resident working for Chore-Time Brock and Phend and Brown. Mike served his Country honorably in the United States Army during Vietnam; he was a member of the American Legion in Milford and was a volunteer for the Milford Fire Department. Mike enjoyed helping area farmers with repairs on their equipment. He enjoyed fishing, tractors and most of all spending time with family.

Mike is survived by his wife of 39 years Vickie of Milford, one son, Jeremy Miller of Nappanee; two grandchildren, Katelyn and Jaxon Miller both of Nappanee. Also surviving are two brothers, Doug (wife Dana) Miller of Bremen, David (wife Sheryll) Miller of Pendleton, OR; two sisters, Sharon Haines of Warsaw and Sherry (husband Ted) Bell of Middlebury and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Steven Miller and a nephew Casey Miller and a brother in law, Richard Haines.

A Celebration of Mike's life will be 8:00 PM, Monday, February 27, 2012 at Mishler Funeral Home, Reverend Jesse Beer will officiate the service. There will be a time of sharing from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Milford Volunteer Fire Department.
