Phillip Klein

Phillip E. Klein, 50, of Milford passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 at his home that he built with his own hands surrounded by his family.

Mr. Klein was born on July 15, 1961 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. After marrying the love of his life, Teresa Bailey, on April 19, 1983, the two of them settled in the small town of Milford. After several moves, they built a house together on fifteen acres where they ran a business and raised two daughters, Jessica and Alyssa.

He was a man that defied all odds. After refusing a heart transplant in 2007, his heart was healed and he went on to live an extremely active life. He loved working outdoors, cutting down trees, repairing what needed fixing on their property, and building anything his mind could conjure up. He even loved pouring the porcelain for his wife's doll business. He was a loving husband and father who was completely devoted to his family.

Mr. Klein is survived by his wife of 29 years, Teresa; his two daughters, Alyssa Klein and Jessica (husband Joshua) Lechlitner; brother, Gregory Klein; and two sisters, Sue Schlarb, and Lisa Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his mother Marilyn Klein.

A celebration of Mr. Klein's life will be held at Milford Christian Church on Sunday, January 15 at 3:00pm.
