Betty Lou Noel

Betty Lou Noel, 72, of Rochester, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born February 28, 1939 in Phoenix, AZ to Alvin and Edith Garner. Betty married Arthur John Noel on November 15, 1955 in Phoenix.

Betty was a good mom and homemaker, who enjoyed traveling, crocheting, shopping, canning, gardening, and baking. She also enjoyed working in a nursing home as a nurse's aide.

She is survived by her husband, Art, of 56 years; a son Artie (Barbara) Noel of Rochester; 5 daughters Carla (Larry) VanLue of Charleston, SC, Mary Noel of Manchester, TN, Laurie Noel of Manchester, TN, Barbara (Bob) BeMiller of Goshen, and Debbie Adams of Rochester; 6 siblings Barbara (Don) Linderman of Texas, Alvin (Barbara) Garner of Plymouth, George Garner of Arizona, Chuck Garner of Washington, Dot (Jim) Stover of Washington, and Don Garner of Arizona; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Sonny and Leonard.
