Dollie J. Kuntz

Dollie J. Kuntz, 83, of Nappanee, formerly of Bremen, passed away December 20, 2011. She was born on March 20, 1928 in Constantine, MI to Ralph Jacobs and Geraldine Sassaman. She married Monroe Kuntz; he preceded her in death on May 22, 2000.

Dollie retired from Bremen bearing in 1987. She was a lifetime member of the Bremen VFW. She loved her family, and enjoyed having the grandchildren around. She was a member of the George Straight and Chicago Cubs fan clubs. She liked country music, reading the National Enquirer and Examiner, watching Soap Opera's on T.V., playing cards but mostly just enjoyed spending time with people.

Dollie is survived by a daughter, Geraldine (Donald) Kohler of Nappanee, three grandchildren, Korena Chapman of Bremen, Todd (Angela) Kohler of IL, Jeffrey (Nikki) Kohler of Goshen; Nine great grandchildren, Elyse, Ariel and Ryan Heyse, J.P. Plank, Justin and Alysa Kohler and Austin Kohler and Shelisha Ringer. Also surviving are four great-great grandchildren, Zachary, Chasity, Karmen and Asher, two sisters, Arline Robinson of GA and Marilyn Pelrucealli of N.J. and a sister in law, Beatrice Jacobs of N.J.



She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.

A funeral service will be 10:30 am on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Mishler Funeral Home. Elkhart County Sheriff's Department Chaplain Marshall Donegan will officiate. Burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
