Glenna Jean Weaver

Glenna Jean Weaver, 85, of Bremen passed away September 17, 2011. Glenna was born October 31, 1925 in Bremen to John and Mabel (Cripe) O'Connor. She married Eldon Weaver on August 30, 1947; he preceded her in death on November 6, 2001.

Mrs. Weaver was a lifetime area resident of Bremen. She was a 1943 graduate of Bremen High School and continued her education at Manchester College. She was a cook for the Bremen Elementary School and a housewife. Glenna was a member of the Bremen Church of the Brethren where she enjoyed singing in the choir and teaching Sunday school to the preschoolers. She enjoyed walking, playing tennis, crossword puzzles and cross stitching.

She is survived by a daughter Jeanne and husband Richard Tripsansky of Bremen and a son Steve Weaver of Bremen.



She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Eldon and two sisters, Mildred Keller and Thelma Hiester.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 21at the Bremen Church of the Brethren with Pastor Mike Overpeck officiating. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call on Tuesday, September 20 from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen.
