Violet Edna Pittman

Violet Edna Pittman, 89, of Bremen passed away on Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Bremen Health Care Center. Violet was born near Bremen, IN, on August 19, 1921 to Willard and Hazel (Bickel) Pittman, deceased. She has resided in Bremen Health Care Center for several years and regularly shared inspirational bible verses for display at the nursing home. She is a member of the First Baptist Church in Bremen.

She is survived by niece Dixie (Michael) Sheetz of Bremen; nephew Doyle (Linda) Pittman of Hixson, TN; sister-in-law Marie (Norman) Bollenbacher of Bremen; grandnieces Suzanna (Michael) Dodds of Indianapolis and Kimberly (Jeremy Osgood) Pittman of Duluth, MN; and grandnephew Brian Pittman of Manchester, TN. A brother, Evart Pittman, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be Monday, August 8, 2011 from 11 am to 1 pm at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen with a memorial service beginning at1 pm with Pastor Ben Hammond officiating and music by Suzanna Dodds. Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery.
