Robert "Bob" Perry

Robert "Bob" Perry, 91, of Mishawaka, formerly of Bremen, passed away at 5:42 pm on July 20, 2011 at Fountain View Nursing Home. Mr. Perry was born January 18, 1920 in Hollidaysburg, PA to Albert and Mabel (Williams) Perry. On February 15, 1946 he married Betty Gates; she preceded him in death in October 1986.

Bob served in the United States Air Force after graduating from High School in 1937. He served in WWII with three of his brothers. He retired from Bell Telephone Company after 35 years and was a Supply Supervisor. He attended the Bremen Bible Church and also served on various boards for the Missionary Church. He enjoyed golf, softball and hunting. Bob had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Bob is survived by a daughter, Bobbie (Randy) Glingle of Bourbon, two grandchildren, Shaun Glingle and Rance Glingle both of Bourbon, a brother Philip (Shirley) Perry of Duncansville, PA and a sister Arlene Burket of Hollidaysburg, PA

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty, daughter Judy Hillman, son-in-law Dick Hillman, two grandchildren Amy and Robby Hillman, four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Saturday, July 23 at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen and on Monday, July 25 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Frankstown Missionary Church in Hollidaysburg, PA.

Services will be at 11 am, Monday, at Frankstown Park Missionary Church with Reverend Roland Cadle officiating. Burial will follow at Alto Rest Cemetery.
