Albert "Al" L. Odiorne

Albert "AL" L. Odiorne, 87, of Plmouth passed away July 19, 2011 8:20 am in his residence. Al was born on May 24, 1924 in Wyatt to Marvin and Pearl (Enders) Odiorne. He married Blanche Forsythe on May 4, 1945, she survives.

Mr. Odiorne honorably served his Country during WW II in Army. Al worked for his family at the Odiorne Paint store, farmed and worked for INDOT. After his retirement, he worked for the Civil Defense and the Sheriff's Posse in Plymouth, and was a member of the Church of Christ in Plymouth. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson.

Survivors include his wife, Blanche, two sons, Tom (Alom) Odiorne of Atlanta, Steve (Cindy) Odiorne of Plymouth and Marcia (Tim) Barts of Bremen. Also surviving are five grand children, Pat Voelkel, David Odiorne, Irene Frazier, Jason Spaid and Jaley Spaid, several great grand children and two sisters, Isabel Kitson and Gertie (Dutch) Schaal.

Mr. Odiorne was in death preceded by his parents, two brothers, a sister, and a grandson Jake Spaid.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with home health care for Blanche.
