Dorothy Ellen Swank

Dorothy Ellen Swank, 87, of Bremen passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011at the Bremen Health Care Center. She was born July 22, 1923 in Bourbon to Ralph & Bessy Haynes. On November 20, 1941 she married Eldon Swank, he survives.

Dorothy graduated from Bourbon High School in 1941 and worked for a dress shop in Nappanee. She and her husband were members of Riverside United Methodist Church. She enjoyed camping, knitting and chatting with friends.

Survivors include husband Eldon of Bremen, son Mike (Brenda) Swank of Sun City, FL, 5 grandchildren, 1 brother and 5 sisters.

She was preceded in death by daughter Patricia Meister and one sister.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30PM on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at the Bremen Cemetery Chapel.
