Robert E Soales

Robert E. Soales, 81, of Bremen passed away April 29, 2011. He was born July 1, 1929 in Bourbon to Lawrence and Aleda (Ewald) Soales. Robert married Elnora Stuntz on November 17, 1950; she preceded him in death on September 7, 2007.

Robert was a lifetime area resident, graduating from Bremen High School in1949. He was a truck driver and worked for Aurora Casket Company. Robert was a member of Bremen United Methodist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a friend to man and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna (Doug) Costas, Las Vegas, NV, Jane (Leroy) Reeder, Edwardsburg, MI, a son, Keith (Gloria) Soales, LaPorte, four grand children, Brian Soales, Angela Woodcox, Tracy Shorter and Brandt Vanderbosch; 13 great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Don (Carol) Soales, Edwardsburg, MI and a sister, Alta (Al) Molebash, Nappanee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother, Lavern Soales.

Funeral service will be 11 am on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Bremen United Methodist Church with Reverend Kevin Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3-7 pm on Tuesday, May 3 at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen.
