Cheryl Elaine Fifer

Cheryl Elaine Fifer, 67, of Leesburg passed away April 12, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born on September 27, 1943 in Warsaw to Deloss and Lois Marie (Davis) Harman. She married Kenneth Ray Fifer on March 22, 1961, he survives.

Cheryl was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and cherished her family. She was a homemaker from the heart, was a generous, caring and selfless person. Cheryl was a member of the GWRRA, Chapter F, Warsaw, Indiana. She will be missed deeply by her family and friends.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 50 years, four daughters, Penny (Ronnie) Adams, Claypool, Kelly (Ted) Hart, Rochester, Cathy (Randy) Hoover, New Paris, Cindy (Mitch Price) Wharton, Milford; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving is her mother, Lois Marie Harman, Leesburg; two brothers, Dean (Linda) Harman, Leesburg and Duane (Lori) Harman, New Paris.

She was preceded in death by her father, Deloss Harman, a son, Richard Lavon Fifer, and a great-grandson, Tucker Wayne Adams.

Services will be 10 am, Friday, April 15, 2011 at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford with Reverend Amber Karkosky-Litten officiating. Burial will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 14 from 2-8 pm at the funeral home.
