Harold D. Eshelman

Harold Eshelman, 86, of Bremen, formerly of South Bend, passed away on April 5, 2011 at 4:35 pm in Bremen Health Care. He was born November 2, 1924 in Fulton County to Ralph and Margarita (Sippy) Eshelman.

He was a janitor at Notre Dame for over twenty years and was a member of Northway Church of Christ. He was also a volunteer for Real Services. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, puzzles, western movies, and old country music.

He is survived by a sister, Clara Webb of Osceola, Betty Richards, Patricia Promroy, Mary Jones, Phyllis Northcutt, and Cindy Keyser all of South Bend, two brothers, Richard Shank of Jacksonville, FL and Thomas Shank of Elkhart, and many nieces and nephews.



Harold was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen with Pastor Ed Erskin officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
