Marilyn L. Wuthrich

August 11, 1937 — February 28, 2011

Marilyn L. Wuthrich, 73, of Nappanee passed away on February 28, 2011 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare. Marilyn was born on August 11, 1937 in Warsaw to Earl and Blanche (Tom) Sutton. She married Glen "Pete" Wuthrich on October 5th, 1956, he survives.

Marilyn was a lifetime area resident. She graduated from Leesburg High School in 1955 and went on to work as a Secretary at Weatherhead and Mutschler Cabinets before opening her own upholstery business. She was affiliated with the Living Gospel Church of Nappanee.

Mrs. Wuthrich will be remembered as a devoted mother, a loving wife, a caring grandmother and a dear friend who always put others before herself. She was a talented seamstress who also enjoyed walking, music, family gatherings and travel. Some of her most enjoyable times were spent walking along the beaches during the winter months in the Ft. Myers area.

Mrs. Wuthrich is survived by her husband of 54 years Glen, four sons, Rich (Amy) Wuthrich of Roselle, IL, Ron (Mary Lynn) Wuthrich of Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, Rex (Beth) Wuthrich of La Grange, KY, and Ryan (Carla) Wuthrich of Hinesburg, VT, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are three brothers, Leon (Sally) Sutton of Turlock, CA, Keith (Joan) Sutton of Greenville, SC, Nelson (Susan) Sutton of Warsaw, and one Aunt Eileen (Tom) Chilcote of Elkhart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Kenneth Sutton, and one sister Phyllis Mullett.

Services will be at 10 am on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford with Reverends Jesse Beer and Ott Beer officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Mishler Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Living Gospel Church of Nappanee or the Apostolic Christian Church of Milford.
