Dean Hamilton

Dean Hamilton, 78, of Milford passed away on February 14, 2011 at home. He was born on December 15, 1932 in Miami County Don Jessie (Shaffer) Hamilton. Dean married Betty Shoemaker who preceded him on October 5, 2005.

Dean was a lifetime area resident. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a truck driver for Martin Feeds for many years and was a member of the American Legion in Syracuse. Dean loved to bowl, and bowled a perfect game. He was a stock car driver at Warsaw and New Paris Speedways during the 1960's and enjoyed NASCAR and kept busy tinkering with engines and motors.



Mr. Hamilton is survived by a daughter, Kathy Solina, Milford, a son, Garry Hamilton, Syracuse, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Jack, Jim and Jerry Hamilton.

Mr. Hamilton was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

There will be a time fellowship on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford from 2:00-4:00 pm.
