John W. Ward

John W. Ward, 83, of Bremen passed away on Friday, December 10, 2010 in Bremen. He was born December 17, 1926 in Bear Creek, Alabama to Ester & Omega (Bowen) Ward.

John was a US WWII Army Veteran and served in Japan. He lived in Imlay City , Michigan, moving to Bremen in 1971, managed a fruit farm in Michigan and worked for Champion Motor Coach in Bremen.

Survivors include wife Dorothy Ward of Bremen, 2 sons: Michael (Dotti) Ward of Bremen and Paul (Beth) Ward of Lakeville, IN, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 sister Bertie Mae Clayton of Alabama.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral service will be 1:30PM on Monday, December 13, 2010 at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen and will be officiated by Pastor Neil Wonnacott. Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 ? 5PM on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospital of Bremen.
