Paul Maurer

Paul Maurer, 62, Bremen, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010

at Community Hospital of Bremen. He was born May 19, 1948 in Salem, OH to Clyde & Viola Maurer. On June 22, 1968 he married Sherry L. Bishop. She survives.

Paul graduated from Penn High School in 1966 and continued school at Indiana University, South Bend. He worked for AM General in Mishawaka, US Granules in Plymouth for 9 years and worked for Koezegi in South Bend. He was active in DeMolay and scouts and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in LaPaz.

Survivors include his wife Sherry of Bremen, son Rich (Maria) Maurer of Sebastian, FL, daughter Angela Maurer of Kewanna, 13 grandchildren, 2 brother: Don Maurer and Bob Maurer, and 2 sisters: Kay Bishop and Pam.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30AM on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church, LaPaz and will be officiated by Pastor Ryan Wardlow. Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery.
