Patricia Collums

Patricia Collums, 80, of Bremen passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2010

at Center for Hospice in Elkhart. She was born June 14, 1930 in Clarksville

to Cloyd A. & Edith Marie (Salisbury) Grimes. On March 22, 1960 she married Forrest W. Collums, Sr., he preceded her in death in 2001.

Patricia attended Arcadia High School, was a cashier at Apple Market in Nappanee for many years and helped on the farm. She loved her family and grandchildren; she loved children and gardening.

Survivors include 2 daughters: Marika (Timothy) Kunder of Bremen, Cindie (Jack) Shumaker Grand Island, FL, 2 sons: Allen (Arlie) Wardlow of Albertville, AL, Timothy Wardlow of AL, 33 grandchildren, many great and great-great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Elizabeth Ann Carey of Frostproof, FL, Lou Kincade of Cicero, IN, 4 step-daughters and 1 step-son.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Forrest, husband Shryl Arlen Wardlow in 1954, daughter Sheryl Wardlow and brother Melvin Grimes and 3 step daughters.

Funeral service will be 1:00PM on Saturday with an hour of visitation prior to the service on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen and will be officiated by Pastor Neil Wonnacott. Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery.
