Jimmy Haughee

Jimmy "Jim" Haughee, 82, of Leesburg passed away July 24, 2010 at 6:00 PM in his son's residence. Jim was born April 26, 1928 in South Bend, IN to Walter and Lucy (East) Haughee. He married Joyce Ellen (Brewer) who preceded him in death in 2001.

Jim was a sales manager for Gerber Baby Products and was a member of the Havendale Church of Christ, Winter Haven, FL and attended the Milford Christian Church. He was a graduate of Mishawaka High School and remained very active in the Alumni Association hosting 10 reunion gatherings in Florida. Jim enjoyed attending Church functions, golfing, bowling, fishing, gardening and photography, but most of all, he loved traveling with his wife, Joyce.

Jim is survived by four children, Jeff (Donna) Haughee, AR, Jacque Moon, FL, Jay (Linda) Haughee, Leesburg, James (Stephenie) Haughee, MI, seven grandchildren, Stephanie (Kevin) Haynie, Christopher, Ryan, Meghan (Ryan) Lynch, Jared (Kelsey) Haughee, Jalyn, Jonah. Also surviving are five great-grandchildren, Ethan, Kylie, Braden Gracey, Gavin, a sister, Jane (Jim) Rush, Warsaw, and two brothers, Jerry (Kim) Haughee, Mishawaka, and Joel Ray Haughee, CA. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Millie Nichodemus for her love and support she gave to dad over the past two years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joyce of 51 years and infant brother Jack.

Services will be Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 12:00 pm at Milford Christian Church, 201 N. Henry St, Milford, IN 46542 with Pastor's Stephen Leininger and Ed Erskin officiating. Cremation will follow.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 4-8 pm at Mishler Funeral Home, 461 W 900 N, Milford, IN 46542 and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.



Memorial Contributions may be given to Kosciusko County Home Care and Hospice.
