Roger D. Balsley

Roger D. Balsley, 74, of Bremen passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Community Hospital of Bremen. He was born March 28, 1936 in Bremen to Clem & Eva (Harrington) Balsley.

Roger graduated from Bremen High School in 1954 and was a US Army Veteran. He was a farmer and owned JR Manufacturing in Bremen for many years. He was a member of the Bremen Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite.

Survivors include 2 daughters: Debra (Desmond) Barr and Cheryl Renee Balsley, and good friend Diane Baker, all of Bremen, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Don and Doyle, step-brother Max and step-sister Pauline.

Funeral service will be at 11AM on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen and will be officiated by Pastor Chuck Krieg. Burial will be at the Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call 1 hour before the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Center for Hospice, The American Cancer Society or Community Hospital of Bremen.
