Delbert "Bud" Dippon

Delbert "Bud" Jesse Dippon, 90, of Milford passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at his residence. He was born May 1, 1920 in Milford to Jesse E. & Lenora (Hahn) Dippon.

He married Leona Poe on December 2, 1944. She preceded him in death on May 6, 2009.

He spent his life farming on the family farm. He was a member of the Milford United Methodist Church, Past Master and 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge #418 Kosc. A 32nd Degree of the Ft. Wayne Valley Scottish Rites, a 25 year member of the Lions club and Fraternal Order of Eagles #3704.

Survivors include daughter Judith Ann (Bruce) Cohen of Granger, son Jeffrey Alan Dippon of Milford, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 sisters: Hilda Seybert of Ft. Wayne and Violet Ramsby of Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, his parents and 3 sisters: Lila Cripe, Erna Bray and Bernice Anglin.

Services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Mishler Funeral Home, Milford and will be officiated by Pastor Eldon Stoltzfus. Burial will follow at the Milford Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 ? 4pm and 6 ? 8pm on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the funeral home in Milford.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Milford United Methodist Church.
