Billy Gene Little, 82, of Milford passed away March 16, 2010 7:50 PM in his residence. Billy was born July 5, 1927 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He married Lee (Miller) Little, she survives.
Billy was a lifetime resident moving here in 1931
Billy has been an active member of the Milford community his entire life. He was adopted by Mack and Jessie Little. After graduating from Milford High School in 1945, he graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Accounting. Billy served his country in both the Coast Guard and the Army. He was the owner of Little and Clark Insurance agency in Milford. Billy was a member of the Wawasee School Board for 18 years, the Milford Kiwanis since the club's inception, the Masonic Lodge, American Legion and Grace Lutheran Church in Syracuse where he attended for many years. Billy was a loving father, grandfather, great- grandfather and friend. He loved people and never knew a stranger. He enjoyed public speaking, writing short stories IU basketball and his bulldogs and schnauzers.

3 Sons, William "Mac" (Shanna) Little, Louisiana, Rick (Sharon) Robinson, New Mexico; Ron (Kathy) Robinson, Goshen, 3 Daughters, Vicki (Doug) Brouwer, Fort Wayne, Judy (Clark) Jones, Milford, Lori Wopshall, Zionsville. Also survivng are 14 Grandchildren, Adam, Michael, Andrew, Katie, Kiarra, Rhianna,Sydney, Jessica, Jackie, Ashley, Josh, Nate, Lucy, Chad,7 Great grandchildren and 2 sisters.
Billy was preceded by his parents, 1st wife Edith who passed in 1986 and one sister.
Services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church, Syracuse with Pastors Wendy Piano, Richard Dunning and Otto Beer officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery with Military Honors.
Visitation will be Friday, March 19, 2010 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Mishler Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church in Syracuse.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Salvation Army or Goshen Hospital Care at Home & Hospice.
