Ruby Arneson

Ruby F. Arneson, 83, of Bremen passed away on Monday, February 15, 2010 at the Community Hospital of Bremen. She was born January 24, 1927 in Nashville, TN to the late William Howard & Sarah Allie (Neeley) Claxton.

On March 23, 1946 she married Alexander Arneson in South Bend. He preceded her in death in 2008.

Ruby worked for 30 years at Shoppers Fair from which she retired to raise her family. Her warm and loving nature made her a much loved person.

Survivors include daughters Theresa Arneson of Joliet, IL and Beth (Greg) Balka of Bremen, sons Douglas (Kathy) Arneson of Highland, CA and Eric Arneson of Mishawaka, grandchildren Clinton Balka of Newburgh, NY, Gretchen Balka of Bremen, David Arneson of Seattle, WA, Danny Arneson of Highland, CA, Becky Johnson of Highland, CA and Beth Arneson of Michigan, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 sister Donna Virginia Amos of Nashville, TN. Also surviving are special friends Jim & Carla Toole and Don & Pat Stahley and Gary Holmer.



She was preceded in death by her husband, son Mark Arneson, brothers Leland, Neeley, and Melvin.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
