Kenneth Griswold

Kenneth Griswold, 87, of Plymouth passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the Miller's Merry Manor in Plymouth. He was born September 2, 1922 in Mexico, IN to Paul & Faye (Stuber) Griswold. He married Martha Crocker on April 7, 1946. She preceded him in death on January 29, 1997.

Kenneth graduated from Plymouth High School in 1942 and was a US Army-Aircorp WWII veteran, serving in the South Pacific Theatre. He was a farmer from 1946-1992, member Bremen Church of the Brethren, member Bremen VFW, member Hog Producers of Marshall Co.- working the booth during Blueberry Festivals in Plymouth, sold Marshall County Farmer's Insurance, was a Cargill corn dealer, and was a member of the 9th Bomb Group Association.

Survivors include 1 son Barry Griswold of Plymouth, 1 daughter Carol Housouer of Rochester, 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 5 great-grandsons, 2 great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by 1 son, 1 great-grandson, 1 sister.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Monday, February 1, 2010 at the Bremen Church of the Brethren (on Woodie's Lane) and will be officiated by Pastor Tom Hostetler. Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery with graveside military honors.
