Harlan Blosser, 65, of Bremen passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2010

at his residence. He was born on April 10, 1944 in North Liberty to Don & Louise (Burrus) Blosser. On December 28, 1968 he married Sharon Van De Walle. She survives.

Harlan graduated from Greene Township High School in 1962 and was a US Navy Vietnam veteran, earning a Bronze Star metal. He was a member St. Dominic Catholic Church in Bremen, a lifetime member of the Bremen VFW and was an avid camper with his wife. He was a computer and copier technician.

Survivors include wife Sharon Blosser of Bremen, son Brad (Mindi) Blosser of Bremen, daughter Kim (Wes) Orloff of Livingston, Alabama, 5 granddaughters: Macey, Madison, & Brenna Blosser, Alli & Annie Orloff, and one brother Donn (Diane) Blosser of College Park, Georgia.

He was preceded by his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 25, 2010 at the St. Dominic Catholic Church in Bremen and will be officiated by Father William J. Kummer. Burial will follow at the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Osceola.

Friends may call from 2 ? 6PM on Sunday at the funeral home.

A Rosary service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice.

The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.
