Dorothy M. Roach

Dorothy Marie Roach, 81, of Bremen passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at the Community Hospital of Bremen. She was born January 12, 1928 in Galveston, TX to John H. & Verdie Mae (Haney) Plowman. She married Albert Roach on March 28, 1964. He preceded her in death on February 21, 2007.

Dorothy graduated from Ball High School, Galveston, TX in 1946 and was a homemaker.

Survivors include 1 son James (Vickie) Hinesley of Angleton, TX, 1 daughter Jennifer (Alex) Bryant of Bremen, grandchildren: Todd, Jamie and Phillip Hinesley of Angleton, TX, Derek Cheek of Fishers, Melissa Cheek of Bremen, Alex Bryant, Jr. of Bremen, 1 brother Joe (Emma) Plowman of Lamark, TX, 2 sisters Alice Balzer of Cape Elizabeth, ME and Betty (Lawrence) Sevin of Frisco, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Roach and brother Chick Plowman.

Services will be private. Entombment will be in Galveston Memorial Park, Hitchcock, Texas.
