Lawrence E. Rich

Lawrence Edward Rich, 83, of Milford, formerly of Sebring, Florida and Lake Tippecanoe passed away on Friday, November 20, 2009 at the Goshen Hospital. He was born September 30, 1926 in Anderson, IN to Jacob & Cecile Rich. He married Helen M. (Hastings) Rich on July 1, 1949, who preceded him in death on July 15, 1994.

Lawrence attended Indiana Business College in Anderson and was an Internal Revenue Agent. He was a Veteran of the US Navy serving in WWII and Korea. He was also a member of the North Webster American Legion.

Survivors include 2 sons: Michael (Rondalea) Rich of Olathe, KS, and Brian (Teresa) Rich of Cromwell, 3 daughters: Deborah (Jerry) Allen of Anderson, Cynthia (Brent) Kaiser of Syracuse, and Karen (Mike) Grady of Syracuse, 17 grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren, and companion Helen Dean.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Helen Rich, brothers Tom and Albert Rich.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Mishler?Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel in Syracuse. Burial will follow at the North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition.

Friends may call from 4:00 - 6:00PM on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at the funeral home.
