Tina Shutske

Tina Shutske, 55, of Bremen passed away on Monday, November 9, 2009 at her residence following complications from a bone marrow transplant. She was born on April 1, 1954 in Bremen to Roy & Esther (Huber) Meister. On June 29, 1996 she married Laurence D. Shutske. He survives.

Tina was a 1972 graduate of NorthWood High School and went back to school at age 47 to earn a degree as a Certified Medical Assistant-graduating from Michiana College in 2003. She was a woodworker for 30 years, 15 of those years at Borkholder Furniture; a member of the Agape Fellowship Church in Bremen where she was the Pastor's wife, Sunday School Teacher and was on the worship team.

Survivors include husband Laurence Shutske of Bremen, 2 daughters: Rachel (Anthony) Kauffman of Nappanee and Sarah (Roger) Shepherd of Nappanee,

1 son: Nathan (Whitney) Wood of Jacksonville, FL, 2 step-daughters Anna Shutske of Milford and Margaret (Will) Wright of Bremerton, WA, 1 step-son Gerald (Chelsey) Shutske of Fargo, ND, 7 grandchildren: Cayne, Nicolette, Devra, Sydney, Ethan, Abbagayle & Daniel,

Shirley (Ted) Conrad of South Bend

Terri (Bob) Steffan of Charlotte, NC



Brothers Ron (Barb) Meister of Mishawaka

Bryan (Stacy) Meister of Marshall, MI



She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 12, 2009, at the Agape Fellowship Church, Bremen and will be officiated by Pastor Tom Hostetler. Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 ? 8 PM on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Agape Fellowship Church, Bremen.
