Jerry Wayne Cannon, 54, of Plymouth passed away on Thursday, November 05, 2009 at his home. He was born August 20, 1955 in Goshen to Lester & Clara Margueriete (Cochran) Cannon. In 1982 he married Donna Bunton, she survives.
Jerry graduated from Bremen High School in 1974 and graduated from Vincennes University with a degree in Communications/Broadcasting worked for Keystone RV as a customer sales representative for many years
Attended Blissville Church of the Brethren in Plymouth, he was "The Voice of the New Paris Speedway," announcing at many area race tracks for over 30 years.
Survivors include wife Donna Cannon of Plymouth, 2 daughters: Brenda (Kevin) Ketcham of Lapaz and Mandy (Jerimy) Carner of Wakarusa, 1 son Kyle (Autumn) Cannon of Plymouth, 10 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, 2 brothers Lester (Sue) Cannon of Bremen, Larry (Rosina) Cannon of South Bend, 1 sister Bonnie Hershburger, mother-in-law Martha (Willard) Messman of Plymouth, his dog Ralphie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 grandson Koty Wayne Ketcham, 4 brothers: Paul, Kenny, Richard & Bernard Cannon, father-in-law Warren Bunton.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Monday, November 9, 2009 at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen and will be officiated by Rev. Mac Abbitt. Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 ? 6PM on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at the funeral home.
