Helen Carothers

Helen Carothers, 80, of Bremen passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at the Community Hospital of Bremen. She was born on January 28, 1929 in Huddy, KY

to Avery & Pearl (Sloan) Royal. On May 2, 1945 she married Glen Justus, he preceded her in death in 1960. She then married Noble Carothers on October 16, 1970. He survives.

Helen was a homemaker, worked for Ristance, Copper Kettle in Bremen and a nursing home. She moved to the Bremen area in 1962 and was a member of Bremen Church of God.

Survivors include husband Noble Carothers of Bremen, daughter Charlotte (Bill) Adkins of Hurley, VA, son Donald (Patricia) Justus of Roanoke, TX, sister Ruth (Ron) Wright of Hamlet, IN, 4 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, son Ted Justus, brothers James, Paul, Eugene, Walter and Bruce Royal, Sister Virginia Mullins.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen and will be officiated by Pastor Jaree Kratzer. Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8PM on Friday, October 30, 2009 at the funeral home.
