Elmer V. Robbins

Elmer Robbins, 99, of Bremen, formerly of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Bremen Health Care Center. He was born March 8, 1910 in Lexington, IL to Edward L. & Anna D. (Lounsberry) Robbins. He married Mary Hartung in October of 1964. She preceded him in death. Elmer was a machinist for Bendix, a Mason in New Carlisle and loved bowling.

Survivors include daughter Bonnie Robbins of South Bend, son Wayne Robbins, foster daughter Louise Weaver of La Fountain, several grandchildren, great-grand children and great-great grandchildren and sister Opal Cowell of Dayton, OH. He was preceded in death by daughter Joyce Robbins, son Richard Robbins, sisters Ruby Fouts and Esther Butcher, brother Paul Robbins and half-brother Robert Hickman

Memorial Service will be at 2PM on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen and will be officiated by Pastor Neil Wonnacott.



Friends may call 1 hour before memorial service at the funeral home.
