John A. Diangikis

John Diangikis,79, of Bremen passed away October 2, 2009 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. He was born June 13, 1930 in Athens, Greece to the late Anastassios and Penny Diangikis.

John was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He owned John's Electric and was known as John the Greek to his friends. His family knew him as a loving person, as somebody who would be there whenever he was needed. John never knew a stranger and would help anyone.

He is survived by his significant other, Treva Slusser, three daughters, Penny (Larry) Springs, Sherman TX, Kay (Doug) Marsh, Grovertown, IN; Crystal (Tom) Daugherty, South Bend, two sons, Bob (Janice) Diangikis, Argos, IN, Michael Diangikis, Grovertown, IN. Also surviving is one stepdaughter, Jerri (Ted) Sauer, Wyatt, one stepson, Tim (Michelle) Slusser, Bourbon, 17 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren; three sisters Helen of MA, Kay and Liberty both of Greece.

John was preceded by his parents, one great granddaughter and one step son.

Services will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Burial will follow the service in Bremen Cemetery.



Visitation will be Monday, October 5, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
